SPORT RECOVERY & DEVELOPMENT
Sport Recovery and Development (SRD) provides individualized programming for each student athlete we train. Our SRD Team consists of a collaborative group of physical therapists, athletic trainers, and personal trainers. We begin each program with an initial assessment where we establish baseline metrics and set specific, measurable, time-bound goals that are relevant to the athlete’s sport(s) performance.
Our SRD Programs are proven to improve speed, explosive power, agility, strength, and endurance while correcting imbalances that contribute to poor movement patterns that are sometimes associated with “over-use” injuries.
A student athlete may benefit from an SRD program if they:
have completed therapy, but need additional strengthening before returning to their sport (“Return to Play” program)
want to gain explosive power
want to get faster
want to be more agile
want to add inches to their vertical jump
want to be stronger
want to have more endurance
want to learn correct form for lifting, jumping, running, etc.
want a competitive edge
